Originally from Bchaaleh, I completed guide training with the Bchaaleh Trails Association in 2017. I now regularly attend training sessions two or three times a year.
My deep attachment to my village stems from my childhood experiences. I used to assist my father in his store, allowing me to become acquainted with everyone in the community. My involvement in local life has led me to become a member of the municipality, as well as the Red Cross and the Civil Fire Defense.
Although my background is in mechanical engineering, hiking has always been a profound passion and source of pleasure for me. It has now evolved into a secondary professional pursuit. The allure of nature, with its trees, flowers, and animals, beckons me – often, I venture on walks accompanied by my dog!
Walking not only provides me with peace and balance but also establishes a unique connection with the people I guide. And let's not forget the physical activity benefits!
Regarding my favorite place around Bchaaleh, while there are many, one that stands out is the Hill of the Cross (Tallet el Salib). Nestled at an altitude of 1350 meters, it offers a panoramic 360° view that encompasses Tripoli, the sea, the mountains, and the entirety of northern Lebanon. It's truly fabulous. Come see it for yourself!
