I have been serving as a local guide in my hometown of Ain Ebel, situated in southern Lebanon, since 2021. I underwent training facilitated by USAID, equipping me with the skills necessary to become a guide.
Ain Ebel holds a special place in my heart, being the very village where I was born, and where my parents also hail from. Nestled at a considerable distance from Beirut, it remains relatively unexplored, even by Lebanese residents. It's of great significance to me to unveil the diverse facets of this village, with its origins dating back to the 17th century. Traditional houses, churches, and captivating landscapes grace this village's tapestry.
Guiding visitors through its environs, I offer hikes along a trail proximate to Ain Ebel. The trail's duration and routes are adaptable, catering to participants' proficiency levels and time availability. Generally, this hike falls under the intermediate category. My guiding services are primarily available on weekends.
In my weekday life, I wear a different hat as a nurse, employed in Beirut. Discovering my roots within the embrace of Ain Ebel and sharing this realm with others brings me genuine delight.
